For best results, a St. Augustine lawn should be 4″ AFTER it is cut. Cutting the grass at a higher level will allow the grass to grow thicker.
Sunlight / Shade
The more sunlight a lawn has, the thicker it will be.
Sodding of St. Augustine Turf
It is best to sod March 15 – April 30, or October 15 – November 15.
