Mowing of Lawn
For best results, a St. Augustine lawn should be 4″ AFTER it is cut. Cutting the grass at a higher level will allow the grass to grow thicker.
Soil Replenishment
Some lawns may have hot spots or low spots that tend to stress or fill in with weeds. This is normally due to natural erosion.
Sunlight / Shade
The more sunlight a lawn has, the thicker it will be.
Sodding of St. Augustine Turf
It is best to sod March 15 – April 30, or October 15 – November 15.
